Garfield Elementry School Winter Holiday Program 1948
About Us
Tucked away in a picturesque part of Humboldt County, you’ll find the Freshwater Grange. Built as Dunn’s Hall in 1885, this beautiful building has served as the hub of Wrangletown community for generations. Chartered as a Grange since 1932, the hall is home to a group of Granger volunteers whose mission is building and strengthening community. We host pancake breakfasts, social events, town hall meetings, dances, game nights and much more.
We have a close relationship with Garfield School. Our hall has been home to Garfield School plays, graduation ceremonies, concerts, and fundraisers for 138 years. Our organization spearheaded fundraising and worked with the school and the county to see speed humps installed on Freshwater Road for the safety of the students and all pedestrians. Ongoing community safety and improvement, as well as human interconnectedness, is at the heart of all we do.
We invite you to join us!
